CV PAINTBALL
will bring a paintball opportunity to the fair. They will be
located north of the track on the grass area in an area 150'
X 100'. CV Paintball will provide the equipment. No outside
equipment is allowed. |

The west
portion of the HORTICULTURE
BUILDING
will be rebuilt from the ground up after snow had collapsed
the roof during the winter. The new building will match the
roof height of the existing east portion of the
building. Work begins June 7th. |
WEST HOG BARN
renovation continues replacing the wood center pens with
galvanized steel gates. This will allow more air flow
through the barn, easier clean up, and a beautiful new
look. Work begins on this project June 6th. |

1880 REPLICA BLACK IRON HORSE ENGINE TRAIN AND BOUNCE HOUSE
to be open during the day. The train is 34' long and 4' wide
and plays 50's and 60's music. The route of the train is

EAST HOG BARN
renovation is slated for more steel gates also. Gates are
being built now and can hopefully be installed by fair. |
Phase 1 of
the
WATER
DRAINAGE SYSTEM & ASPHALT/CONCRETE WALK/DRIVEWAYS
is
planned for completion by fair time. The
asphalt walkway/driveway plan is in conjunction with the
Warren County Engineers office, Warren County
Fair Association, Warren County Philanthropic Partnership,
and private donations. The new asphalt will provide easier
access to the food stands and restrooms for wheel chairs,
strollers, and anyone needing mobility assistance.

A new
permanent entertainment stage is set for construction
beginning June 14th. This
"FRIENDS OF 4-H STAGE"
will be built west of the Lester building at the south end
with the sound facing the north or toward cattle barn #1.
Donations from the public will be greatly appreciated. |

VET CAMP
sponsored by Iowa State Veterinary Medical Association and
Brianne Simonsen, a second year veterinary student at Iowa
State. Total of 30 students will rotate through 3 stations.
Stations include proper bandaging, basic physical exam
skills, first aid skills and care of small animals, proper
injection sites and techniques. Camp has online sign up for
kids between the ages of 14 and 18 on Tuesday, July 27th. |
